Florida State Fire Classes
Florida Fire Investigator
Fire Investigators combine the skills of scientists, fire service and law enforcement professionals. Fire Investigators examine and document fire scenes, collect and preserve evidence, and conduct interviews to determine the origins and causes of fires, explosions, and fire-related deaths. This program is based on the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1033 “Standard for Professional Qualifications for Fire Investigator” and is intended to prepare individuals for service as fire investigators in the public sector.
To meet the requirements of the Florida Bureau of Fire Standards & Training, you must be either a certified firefighter, certified law enforcement officer, law enforcement crime scene technician, or a fire safety inspector to become certified as a Fire Investigator.
Ricky Rescue Training Academy offers three courses that are part of the requirements to become a certified Fire Investigator in the State of Florida.
