ARTICULATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN WALDORF UNIVERSITY AND RICKY RESCUE TRAINING ACADEMY

 

1. Purpose

The purpose of this transfer agreement between Waldorf University (WU) which is located at 106 South Sixth Street, Forest City, Iowa 50436 and Ricky Rescue Training Academy (RRTA), whose mailing address is 13861 Plantation Rd #104, Fort Myers, Florida is to establish transfer criteria for courses earned at Ricky Rescue Training Academy that can be applied to online and campus degree programs at Waldorf University.

2. Background

WU is a private university located in Forest City, Iowa offering residential and online degree programs that combine a strong liberal arts base with applied learning. WU is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). HLC is the regional accrediting agency for colleges and universities located in the mid-west region of the United States.

3. Articulation Agreement

Waldorf University recognizes the professional integrity and academic stature of Ricky Rescue Training Academy. Likewise, Ricky Rescue Training Academy does and will continue to offer quality training.

A. Waldorf University prospective student information:

  1. WU will provide RRTA students information on online and campus degree program requirements and general education options. This information is located on the Waldorf University website and in the University Catalog. All Waldorf University certificate and degree programs are eligible for transfer credit review.
  2. WU will not charge RRTA students and prospective students or alumni an application fee.
  3. Ricky Rescue Training Academy students entering Waldorf University will be required to meet all Waldorf University admission’s requirements.
  4. WU transfer credit policies as they appear in the WU Catalog at the time of application will be utilized to determine the transferability of RRTA student credits.

    Waldorf will evaluate courses on transcripts submitted by MSFA applicants for credit transfer consideration. A maximum of 45 semester hours in the Associate’s degree program, or 90 semester hours in the Bachelor’s degree program may be transferred into Waldorf, provided they are relevant and in alignment with the applicable degree program. Students will be awarded the maximum transfer credit allowed, per transfer credit regulations. Acceptances of courses and credits from MSFA and other accredited institutions is carried out by the Waldorf Registrar, or designee, based on the nature and quality of the coursework, within guidelines of the Higher Learning Commission. Note: A minimum GPA of 2.0 from any transferring institution is required for admission into Waldorf. A minimum letter grade of C or better is required for course credit transfer consideration.
  5. While in a program at Waldorf University, Ricky Rescue Training Academy students will be required to follow all institutional policies and procedures outlined in the University Catalog and Student Handbook.
  6. Ricky Rescue Training Academy students and employees will receive a 10% tuition discount as part of a Learning Partnership.

Waldorf University reserves the right to modify degree program requirements at any time to preserve the University’s best practices and program integrity. Waldorf University policies, regulations, procedures and curricula are subject to change without prior notice, if necessary, to keep the University in compliance with regulations of our accrediting bodies.

4. Commitment

Waldorf University and the Ricky Rescue Training Academy are committed to serve our students in achieving their educational goals. Both parties are committed to serve students and use technology to facilitate the transfer of students between institutions.

This Agreement will remain in effect for a period of five (5) years from the date of signature, but may be terminated by either party by providing a written notification to the other party. Waldorf University and Ricky Rescue Training Academy will review the agreement annually to determine whether it is achieving its purposes and continuing to meet each institution’s needs. This agreement may be executed by duly authorized representatives of each party, either by electronic facsimile or other digital means, each of which will be considered as original.
